Composite numbers are one of the types of numbers. Generally speaking composite numbers are all the numbers other than the prime numbers. Prime numbers are the numbers divisible by only 1 and itself. Examples of prime numbers are 2, 3, 5, 7, 11 and so on. Therefore examples of composite numbers are 1,4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12 and so on.
